The Beltway Bears was formed, in the tradition of most Bear Clubs, primarily to be a club of, and for, men. However, there is no gender requirement.
Any adult human, age 21 or over shall be eligible for membership.
Membership dues for 2012 will be $20 per person and memberships are renewable each December. We acknowledge that this is a change from the $12 single and $18 couples memberships from prior years. Our costs for sponosoring two free member events each year, our summer barbeque and our holiday party, have increased, thus a need for the increase. If the new amount is a hardship, please contact a club officer offline about seeking an exemption.
